The Ground floor is an area of 67sqm and features a living together with a dining room, the kitchen, wc, storage room and the entrance. The 1st floor, which is of an area of 82sqm, features the hall, one more living room with the fireplace and access to veranda, as well as an office, bathroom and bedroom. While the upper floor, which is of an area of 17sqm, the residence has one more bedroom. The floors are made of tile or wood, while the frames are wooden with double glazing and mosquito screens. The house has autonomous heating (radiators) with electricity as well as air conditioning in the bedrooms. Arches and vaulted ceilings, characteristics of an architecture of the medieval settlements, are distinguished throughout the building.

The building has been built in a plot of 82sqm and it is for sale together with an independent, neighbouring plot of land of 222sqm, which is now used as a garden (It can be used for car parking too – additional building area is allowed).

Very close (4km) to the beach of Komi and the famous beaches “MavraVolia”. It is an excellent choice for holiday home or a rental one.

Location

As a part of the Eastern Aegean Island group, Chios is slightly remote but totally worth visiting thanks to its stunning beaches and impressive medieval villages! The labyrinth-like alleys of settlements such as Pyrgi and Olympi stand out for the elaborate architecture of their traditional houses, with geometrical designs and a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere.

The island's airport received flights from Athens. Alternatively, you could take a ferry from Piraeus port in Athens. Ferry connections between Chios and other Eastern Aegean islands are available as well.

The best part of Chios and what makes the island unique is what are known as the mastikahoria, the famous mastic villages of Chios. These are a series of fortified villages built in the 14th century during Genovese rule.
