- Classified as a Historic Monument since 1983
- 170 hectares of freehold land
- 6 hectares of olive groves
- 85 hectares of vineyards
Location
This 170 hectares of freehold land offers 6 hectares of olive groves and 85 hectares of vineyards in the Côtes de Thongue igp zone. The estate benefits from a Mediterranean climate ( maximum sunshine, low rainfall and exposure to the winds (Mistral and Tramontane)), which allow the grapes to ripen well without suffering from too many diseases. As well as this, the estate also benefits from a very qualitative terroir on three types of soil: Villafranchian gravel, clay-limestone and
volcanic soil.
Description
The chapel, with its walls decorated with historical frescoes (17th century) has been classified as a Historic Monument
since 1983. The winery, reception rooms and offices form a historic central courtyard with the château. 5 hangars on either side of the entrance gate are now used for storage. The wine-making cellar is a traditional Languedoc winery, semi-buried to preserve cool temperatures in summer.
The estate offers a range of 9 cuvées (5 red wines, 2 rosé wines and 2 white wines) vinified and matured directly at the
Domaine. Ideally located moments from the historical town of Pézenas, the winery is extremely popular with tourists. The wine are distributed through a network of customers in France and abroad. Customers are also welcomed in a sublime wine shop with a magnificent period walkway and central rose window.
The winery is equipped and operational.
