Other benefits of the first floor property include the spacious lounge, bright kitchen with separate dining room, and the shared rear garden.

Walthamstow Central tube station is a walk away - or even quicker hop on the bus, putting you 45 minutes from central London door to door, but your local area is jam-packed with brilliant amenities, so you’ll want to stick around as much as possible.

If you lived here...

History fans will be delighted to learn about the origin of your beautiful home; Warner properties were the brainchild of Walthamstow's first mayor, Sir Thomas Courtenay Warner - and there’s a reason that they’re still so popular today, with their striking features, such as the handsome brickwork and arched porches.

Inside, you’ll be enjoying in the considered design of your new home on a daily basis. Your lounge is a superb hosting space, coming in at a very generous 180 square feet, with a bay window dressed in elegant shutters, filling every inch with natural light. Sleekly engineered timber floorboards run underfoot, while the custom carpentry adds a stylish touch. The timber panelling provides another lovely feature, alongside the focal fireplace.

Bedroom one is a generous 115 square foot double – immaculate and complete with a garden view – while next door bedroom two is a 60 square foot single ideal for a child or home-working space, as you wish. Continue through for a bathroom exquisite in dark cerulean blue metro tiles and dedicated shower cubicle, and on to your kitchen with its smart white units, Belfast sink and integrated oven to access to your shared rear garden, lush with foliage. Lastly, your dining room comes in at a generous 130 square feet with a stately statement wall and a twin set of windows framing tranquil, leafy garden views.

Lloyd Park is just moments away, where you’ll find everything from a skatepark and outdoor gym to galleries and cafes. Head south towards the Bell junction and Hoe St beyond, and you’ll come across many, many exceptional independent ventures, including vegetarian-focused cafe Buhler and Co, award-winning pizza restaurant Yard Sale, and the much-loved Ye Olde Rose & Crown pub.

As well as giving you access to the train station, Walthamstow Central is where you’ll find the the Centre17 mall and the buzzing High Street (Europe’s longest). There’s not much you can’t find there!

A word from the owner....

"We've loved living on Brettenham Road. It's a vibrant street close to the best park in Waltham Forest. The weekly food and farmers market in the park is a must, and there are lots of great things for kids to do in the area. We also like that it's so close to the bars, cafes and restaurants Walthamstow has to offer. The Dog and Duck just down the road do great pizzas and a weekly quiz, and Buhler & Co. Is our absolute favourite brunch spot. We'll miss the area a lot. I can't say how lovely the walk home from Walthamstow Central through the park is."
