Owners thoughts:
When I retired from the police service, I bought 75 Main Street. During my service, I was the Beeford village Bobby, and I always knew I wanted to retire here. The original building is a 1930s bungalow built for a local farmer’s grandmother. I bought it in 2016, extended it, and completely renovated it with an emphasis on environmental efficiency and low running costs. Beeford is a great place to live, with convenient access to the butchers, village shop, and pub. The community is thriving with activities at the Community Centre, including yoga, live music, and fundraising events. There are also cricket, tennis, and bowls clubs. Just a 10-minute drive to glorious beaches, and easy access to the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds or the historic market town of Beverley. We have great neighbours, no crime, and a friendly atmosphere. Now, it’s time for a new chapter in my life, as i’m moving to near York with my new partner.
