Overview
Why buy this home....
As you walk into the entrance hall of this stunning three-bedroom home you get the feeling of space due to its traditional layout. To the left-hand side of the hallway, you have a large living area that offers itself a multitude of ways to set your furniture out. There's also access to the garden from the double doors. The garden has recently been landscaped adding a low-maintenance lawn, a decking area, and a barked area for a kid's play house. There is also access to the front of the house via a gate.
To the left of the hallway, you have the heart of the home, the kitchen/diner. This is finished with high gloss cupboards and ash grey worktops adding to the stylish modern look. Integrated appliances consist of a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and an eye-level double oven. The room is designed to have the dining table next to the window which brings lots of light and makes for a lovely area to relax and spend time with family and friends.
As you walk up the stairs you are greeted with a galleried landing which is a lovely feature. The master bedroom has space for a double wardrobe plus a king size bed and bedside tables. Naturally, there is an all-important ensuite that is tiled, and has a double shower. The second bedroom is directly across the landing from the master bedroom and is big enough for a double bed. The third bedroom is toward the back of the house and is a great size for a single which could be used as an office or playroom. These two bedrooms are served by the family bathroom which has the same tiles as the ensuite, plus a bath and shower.
Parking is provided by side-by-side parking spaces. There is also ample community parking available.
More about the location.....
For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. With some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.
Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston and Birmingham.
In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq. Ft Asda. At the end of April the Turing Key pub opened its doors and has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
