A few words from the owner:
What do you love about your home?
We fell in love with this flat because it was really spacious and had such high ceilings and beautiful windows. The layout works so well with a large open plan kitchen and dining area and a huge lounge which was great for hosting dinner parties. Both bedrooms are a really good size with plenty of storage and each with its own en-suite bathroom, and patio provided a lovely private space making it perfect for sharing with housemates or when we had friends and family come to stay. When we bought the flat, we invested significantly in modernising the bottom-floor rooms, ensuring they were finished to a high standard.
Why are you selling?
Due to employment opportunities, we moved abroad a few years ago, and given our current life plans we do not anticipate returning to London. While we will miss the flat, we are confident that the next buyers will love and enjoy it as much as we did!
What do you love about the area?
This flat is in a near-perfect location. It's nestled right in between the hustle and bustle of Dalston and the calm and beautiful streets of De Beauvoir. There are cosy, friendly pubs just a few minutes' walk away; our personal favourites are The Duke of Wellington, The Talbot and De Beauvoir Arms. For Saturday mornings, there's Dusty Knuckle Bakery and Allpress Espresso Roastery, but the true gem is Mira's, a Greek café at the other end of Tottenham Road. Grab a coffee there and chat to the two lovely sisters who run it.
For those who enjoy walking or running in green spaces, New River Walk offers a small oasis of calm. Additionally, Clissold Park and Shoreditch Park are both just a 15-minute walk away. The transport links are excellent, with Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland stations both a 5-10 minute walk away, providing great access to the city in all directions.
