Owners Comments....
Many years ago we bought Cleare Cottage after searching for a while but having no luck. We were looking for a place to call home in a dreamy location, but close to fun places to go out, close to Heathrow airport and easy access to London by car/rail, but most of all somewhere super safe for our two cats to play outside. Who would have known that a perfect Victorian end of terrace cottage nestled in acres of National Trust land, was hiding in Pinkney’s Green. We still to this day think we were so lucky to have found the cottage. Over the years we have made additions to the cottage, with an extension to the kitchen, added a walk-in wardrobe in the main bedroom, updated the bathroom and landscaped the front and back gardens.
Cleare Cottage is just a beautiful home over three floors with plenty of living and entertaining space. It is a just wonderful to wake up in bed and be able to look out over the fields of the National Trust land. It is the perfect house for someone like us that had cats and dogs – as you have miles of fields just outside your gate! It is on a no through road, with two dedicated parking slots in front of the house as well as visitor parking. Plus, a super pub just 5 minutes’ walk from the cottage – The Pinkney’s Arms, which has amazing food and the perfect pub garden, and they host regular ‘foodie nights’ – which are delicious.
Now with the Elizabeth Line up and running from Maidenhead station you can get into central London super-fast, which is great if you work in London or just fancy a day / evening out. For us it made a world of difference working in London and now having such a regular number of trains coming out of London back to Maidenhead every 20 minutes. Coupled with Heathrow airport just 25 minutes away. Marlow only 10 minutes’ drive which is packed with great restaurants, bar, shops, and it is on the river. Maidenhead is 10 minutes away and you close to all the big supermarkets too.
It will make us very happy to be able to share our lovely cottage to someone to build their dreams in as we have done over the years. Many happy memories will always be with Cleare Cottage

There isn't much more I can add above and beyond the lovely comments by the owner! It's such a charming house in a gorgeous location that feels quintessentially country whilst being utterly convenient for access into London and the surrounding towns, villages and hamlets. Bakers Row is pretty much in the middle of Pinkneys Green, and there's some lovely countryside to explore, with some proper country pubs to stop at for a Sunday Roast! Maidenhead Town Centre and train station is around 3 miles away, or under a 10 minute drive, and there's trains into Paddington in under 20 minutes and now the Elizabeth "Lizzy" Line putting you straight on the underground. The M4 & M40 motorways are also close by, and there're plenty of well regarded local schools within easy reach.
