"We first moved to the area as the location was perfect for us; it’s a walk away from dockside, all the restaurants, pubs and all the events that happen at dockside including the food and drink festival. We wanted a new build that we didn’t need to do anything too. We also enjoy the walk around St Mary’s Island along the river.
It’s a quiet area and have lovely neighbours. Parking was important to us, we have two spaces we use and there are many visitor spaces. Having the sun in summer all day was also a must, so the south facing balcony was perfect.
We now have children so there is a park that’s just been built in colonial wharf and a communal area where only residents have access too with a code so you can sit and enjoy the river on a nice day. My work, my son’s nursery and the doctors are all a walk away so it is perfect for us. We are only selling due to a growing family and more space."
