North Devon Council granted outline planning permission (Ref.75194) for "Residential development including access with some matters reserved (appearance, landscaping, layout & scale) on land at Furzebray Farm, George Nympton Road, South Molton on 24th April 2024".

The planning permission and associated S106 legal agreement includes a requirement for 14% affordable housing on the site, with the only financial contribution being a sum of £862.07 per open market dwelling towards recreation.
