Comment From Robert Reed Of Gascoigne Halman

This a property that offers a series of pleasing surprises, delivering far more accommodation and plot than might initially be expected. It has been greatly enjoyed and improved by the present owners, with recent improvements including the installation of a new kitchen and principal family bathroom, in addition to extensive redecoration. These recent changes follow on from another important upgrade in 2018, that being the installation of new windows and back doors.

The overall result is a fantastic home that combines character and interest with space and practicality. The rooms are arranged in such a way that they can easily be adapted to suit individual requirements.

The main surprise is how big this house is. Having been extended, it is just under 1900 square feet in size, therefore offering excellent value. The open plan kitchen provides a stylish and contemporary space whilst the main living, dining and study space is rather more traditional in style with a brick fireplace and stove as the focal point. The main bedroom has its own mezzanine level, which could be used as study, sitting area or dressing room.

Hartford village is just over five minutes drive away and has a number of shops and schools including the highly regarded Grange Junior and Senior School. Hartford also boasts a main line railway station to Liverpool and London Euston (with regular services taking about two hours).
