Soham boasts its own railway station, operating on the Ipswich to Peterborough line, with options to travel to Ely and connect to Cambridge and London.

Soham enjoys a thriving community with an excellent selection of activities and services, including a pavilion and recreation ground available to hire, a skatepark, play areas, allotments, and exercise and football facilities. Inside, there are many notable features, including wall paintings, carvings and memorials. Today, the church holds regular services and events for all ages.

There is an excellent selection of pubs, bars, restaurants and shops, as well as a doctor’s surgery, veterinary surgery, and well-regarded primary and secondary schools.
