Progress Fire And Security Limited has now come to the open market due to our clients desire to retire.

The company gained accreditation from the ssaib (Security Systems & Alarms Inspection Board) for the design, installation, corrective and preventative maintenance of intruder alarm systems in February 2003 and for CCTV systems in December 2011. In July 2014, Progress achieved bafe SP203-1 (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) approval for the design, installation, commissioning/handover and maintenance of Fire Detection and alarm systems. In September 2010, Progress achieved approval as a Network Rail key supplier through the risqs (Link-Up) scheme.

A key part of the business is their staff. The directors and senior managers have over 100 years’ experience between them in the security industry and so are ideally qualified for all eventualities. Most of the engineering staff has been with the company for a considerable time, and they're also heavily invested in apprenticeship schemes giving local young people the chance to learn a skill and move on into full time employment with them. All staff are multi-skilled allowing them to work on all the different areas covered by Progress.

They believe they have the right balance, as many of the customers have been with them for years, with some, including some large industrial customers, remaining with them since we started, 30 years ago.

Fire Alarms -

Progress Fire And Security Limited provides fire alarms for residential, commercial and industrial properties, as well as infrastructure such as railway stations. The fire alarms are suitable for all requirements no matter what type of premises and all new customers undergo an independent fire alarm survey, enabling them to provide you with a fire alarm suitable to your needs.

They can supply:
