“My wife and I were living in London," Charlie says. "We had a little bit of money saved up and we ended up quite a long way out - further than we’d wanted to be.
“So we went and bought a tiny house in Sicily. We couldn't live in it, but it was a lot of fun. It cost us £30,000 to buy a house in a UNESCO world heritage site. That was 18 years ago.”
